Lao Airlines Goes Green

In June this year, a tree planting day supported by companies producing Airbus and ATR aircrafts, CIT Lao and Thai PT Air Cargo Co to mark the National Arbor Day in Luang Prabang Province. A Golf Tournament hosted by Deputy Prime Minister Somsavath Lengsavath’s was also held to celebrate the acquisition of the Airbus 320 series aircraft and two ATR 72-600 aircraft.

The first aircraft will be delivered by the end of 2012, followed by a further two next year, according to Lao Airlines officials.
